In order for the World Halal Forum to be the main catalyst for the development of the global halal industry while positioning Malaysia at the core of this development, the WHF Industry Dialogues will be organized in key countries throughout 2008.
The World Halal Forum – Industry Dialogues (WHF-ID) are designed to create understanding in different areas and get to the heart of issues that are faced by industry players, governments, and stakeholders alike.
The Industry Dialogues will either be a half day or full day of moderated dialogues, including presentations, deliberations and networking, and attended by key individuals in the area of interest. Industry leaders, government sector policy-makers, NGOs and business people alike will find these events useful for developing a greater understanding of the issues, and for charting the way forward. These smaller events allow specific items to be addressed and problems to be resolved before the next World Halal Forum.
The WHF Industry Dialogues will be key for the HDC to get market intelligence, source for business opportunities, enhance government to government relations and most importantly, position the HDC as a leading halal development corporation on the world’s stage. The World Halal Forum and its International Industry Dialogues are a year long halal programme. It is proposed for the HDC to utilize them as their own global tour or event programme as ‘Host’.
There will be one WHF Industry Dialogue held in each of the following regions for 2008:
Europe
Middle East
Australasia
North America
South America
Africa
South East Asia
Sponsorship for Industry Dialogues is also possible, and many companies have used the dialogues to better understand the Global Halal Industry and take a position in this fast-growing market. For information contact info@worldhalalforum.org |
